Calling All Authors!

Authors - be part of the Virtual Book Fair!
Join SLWG for our annual Virtual Book Fair. We’re celebrating with a month-long book fair and we want you to be a part of the fun. The book fair takes place on multiple social media platforms to ensure the widest audience. Do you have a book or books you want to “sell” at this virtual book fair?

The Rules:

Please Read Carefully… there are some specific things you’ll need to do.
SLWG Members - The Book Fair is Free to be a part of. Participate as little or as much as you want. There will be readings, times to tweet on twitter, to post on facebook, and more. SLWG will hold several readings, or feel free to pitch your book if you don’t want to read, that will be posted and shared online. We ask that you retweet or post about the event but we’ll send all that kind of information in a specific email once registered.

Non-Members - The Book Fair is $10 to participate. Once registered we’ll send you an email with information on reading times and days to post so that the event can trend on social media, as well as other opportunities. Please read below for what to send to SLWG for the Author Hall.

Affiliated Groups - $5 for members of Groups Affiliated with St. Louis Writers Guild. A list of affiliated groups can be found on the writers resources page. Click Here to View. What do Authors need to do?

SLWG needs a picture of your books - set all the titles you want to showcase on the table, a couch, your desk, the floor, wherever, just take a picture of your books and send that picture along with a website or url, someplace people can buy the book(s). Only one link please. We’ll post that here in the Author Hall.

Be part of the Readings - SLWG will hold several readings on Zoom which will be recorded and then posted to YouTube.
Tweet or Post on Facebook about your book, the book fair, and if you want other books in the Author Hall.
Tell your friends. Let people know about the book fair - SLWG will do this too, but we need your help to let everyone know.
