White Sands National Monument
Holloman AFB, New Mexico

We stopped at the White Sands National Monument on our way to Arizona and arrived in late afternoon. We didn’t have enough time to visit the entire area, but what we saw was breathtaking. Awestruck with not only its beauty, but the incredible quiet, my body tingled from the sound of silence.
