For Individuals and Nonprofits

Book Development (Fiction and Nonfiction)
Book developers work closely with authors to help them organize their ideas and turn them into a finished, book-length manuscript. Book developers do not write for the author, but help the author clarify focus and structure.

Coaching
Writing coaches help hopeful authors find their voice, chose their format (essay, short story, how-to format, children’s book, mystery, and so forth), organize information, and decide how to begin. Coaches guide writers through all phases of the writing process, from first draft to publication.

Ghostwriting
Ghostwriters take the author's material and turn it into a finished manuscript, doing all the organizing and writing, sometimes the research as well. In creative ghostwriting, the ghostwriter comes up with the idea, does all the research, writing, and artwork, with little or no input from the “author.” Ghostwriters negotiate various financial arrangements for their work, depending on the complexity of the assignment. Acknowledgement in print, especially on the cover, is often considered part of the fee.

Manuscript Editing
Manuscript editors read the author's work carefully for sense and logic, correcting word use, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Sometimes they also do fact-checking or suggest new ideas and research. Every writer needs an editor – no exceptions.

Personal and Family Histories
Writers of this genre compile a family history or an autobiography, which requires research, interviewing, organizing countless details, tracking down photos, and writing the story in an engaging way.  Whether it’s for family only or for a larger audience, our book developers, coaches and editors can help.

Proofreading
Proofreaders go over your text for spelling and punctuation errors and typos. They do not read for content or flow.

Web Content Writing
Web content writers create the content that is displayed on a website; however, they don't create the look and feel, the interface and navigation, of the website.

Website Development
Website designers conceptualize and create the look and feel of a website, including the interface and navigation, specific to a client's needs. Website designers may or may not create the content that is displayed on a site. If they don't, the client is responsible for supplying the content.

Workshops
Writing workshops focus on specific types of writing – creative, business, or autobiographical, etc. – and are led by writers who specialize in these genres.
