Discussion Board - About
The Discussion Board (DB) is an interactive environment fascilitating the dissemination of knowledge to our members and the community. This is the place to hold online discussions, network with their fellow members, obtain advice and feedback on works-in-progress, post announcements, promote books and literary accomplishments, and much more.
While the public can view many areas of the Discussion Board, there are some areas that are for members only. In order to access these members-only areas or post messages, you must have an account. If you need an account, contact the webmaster at webmaster@stlwritersguild.org. Members with accounts will be able to access market information, community contests, job opportunities, and much more. Use of the DB means that members will abide by the Rules & Guidelines.
Other activities also require a DB account:
- Listing your book information in our online bookstore
- Updating your membership data to facilitate correspondences and networking
- Participating in a critique group
- Renewing your membership online
- Reading quarterly newsletters online
- Sharing works-in-progress
To help maximize membership benefits, we highly recommend that members request a Discussion Board account from the webmaster if they don't already have one.
