Eldest (Inheritance Trilogy #2), Vol. 2 |
| Christopher Paolini began to write Eragon when he was 15 in 1998; his book was self-published in 2002, and it was soon picked up by a professional publisher. In 2003, Eragon was republished and went on to become a New York Times Bestseller. Paolini's sucess is an inspiration to other young writers who, like him, aspire to publish their own books. Paolini went on to publish a sequel to Eragon, called Eldest. The two books are excellent for entertainment, but most of all it is fascinating to analyze how Paolini improved as a writer as he gained more experience. | |
