SLWG Poetry Contest Results:
Three times a year the Guild hosts writing contests. The annual Deane Wagner Poetry Contest is held in the spring; the St. Louis Writers Guild Annual Short Story Contest is held in the fall; and the kids' contest is also held in the fall. Read about our connection to Tennessee Williams on the Short Story Contest page. Any topic is allowed; however, submissions must be original and unpublished. You do not need to be a member of the Guild in order to participate in these contests. Three winners will be chosen for the poetry and short story contests.
